Grafton Ghosts gather to remember inaugural coach

GRAFTON Ghosts will gather to remember Clem Rankin when they host their first game of Group 2 this Sunday.

Rankin, the first captain-coach of the proud club, passed away a month ago after a long fight with leukemia.

The Ghosts will pay tribute to their inaugural boss at Frank McGuren Field before the first grade match against Sawtell Panther, with a moment's silence and a reflection of Rankin's career at the club.

The players will also wear black armbands.

Under-18s start at noon, with first grade scheduled for 2.30pm.
