Grafton netball jumps for joy

A FOOTSORE group of Grafton Netball officials were beginning to think about next year's two-day carnival even as they cleaned up a hugely successful weekend.

The association hosted more than 50 teams from 13 regions around Northern NSW, earning praise for its organisation and facilities while at the same time giving players valuable experience of playing carnivals netball.

“We had some panicky moments, like when it began raining this morning and then began pouring later in the day,” said Grafton Netball Association president Cathy Walls.

“But it all went well and we definitely want to do it again.”
