Grafton to race - course rated heavy (9)

The eight-race meeting has been given the all clear from Racing NSW stewards to go ahead with the course rated heavy (9).

As a consequence, the rail has been moved out a further two metres to 6.5 metres between the 800m and 400m to avoid an extremely heavy section of the track.

It will be a day for the heavy track specialists, with 33 of the 126 original acceptors already scratched, including six from the first race of the day at 2.20pm, the Winning Edge Presentations Maiden Handicap (1215m).
