Grafton RFS to get new airbase tanks

KEVIN Hogan, the member for Page, has announced $80,000 in funding for the Rural Fire Service to construct Airbase Tanks in Grafton.

"Building new emergency infrastructure like this is essential to our region," Mr Hogan said.

According to Mr Hogan, the new Airbase Tank for Grafton will help reduce the impact of bushfires to the community.

"While natural hazards like bushfires are a fact of life in Australia, our community is stepping up efforts to manage the risks,

"It is only by working together that we can reduce the potentially destructive impacts of future disasters such as bushfire," Mr Hogan said.
