Legends and greats at Lower Clarence Magpies club reunion
MACLEAN Bowling Club hosted 324 people on Saturday night for the 100 Years of Rugby League in the Lower Clarence Reunion Dinner.
"Everyone had a great time," Lower Clarence club president Steve Austine said.
Past and present players and supporters watched footage of historic matches and listened as special guests Terry Lamb and Steve Mortimer shared tales of former players and Origin experiences.
An extensive memorabilia display featured photos and clippings from The Daily Examiner dating back 100 years.
All previous coaches in attendance spoke on stage of their experiences, the Lower Legends team was announced and the Heritage Jerseys worn last weekend against Evans Head were auctioned.
