Group 2 powerhouses get off to perfect starts
GROUP 2 powerhouses have started their seasons with crushing victories.
Defending premiers Coffs Comets announced their intention to go back-to-back by destroying Orara Valley Axemen at home 64-4.
Grafton Ghosts raced out to a halftime 42-0 lead in their first Group 2 match since leaving Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League, eventually running out 56-16 winners over Macksville Sea Eagles.
Woolgoolga Seahorses took advantage of a disappointing South Grafton Rebels 40-18, while Sawtell Panthers got home easily against Bellingen Magpies, winning 34-14.
