Editorial - Monday, November 11: Guided by your dreams

EVERYWHERE you go, people will tell you you're dreaming too big.

"You'll never do that, that's too crazy."

"Don't be stupid, be realistic."

Yet every day, we have people like Abbie Weir who are making huge splashes in the world as they paddle their way to the top.

She may be young, but Abbie is a girl who knows what she wants and is going out of her way to get it.

After coming fourth on Australia's Next Top Model she has now signed with one of the biggest modelling agencies in the world.

It just goes to show that hard work, dedication and love for what you do is the perfect recipe to reaching your goals and living your dreams.

It's people like Abbie who are proving to those who say 'you can't, you won't', that dreams are never too big.

We should all be inspired by this Brushgrove girl's achievements as she takes on the world stage.
