Guilty on photo counts

A SOUTH Grafton man has been found guilty of two indecency charges after taking semi-nude photos of a 14-year-old Clarence Valley girl.

The girl was babysitting the man's children at the time of the photo sessions.

The man, 47, whose name was suppressed to protect the identity of the victim, had pleaded not guilty to charges of inciting a person under 16 to commit an act of indecency and aggravated indecent assault of a victim under 16.

Magistrate Kim Pogson delivered the guilty verdicts in Grafton Local Court on Monday, following a closed-court hearing at the end of last year. The man will be sentenced on May 11.
