Hackett sorry, working on 'issues' after clash on plan

GRANT Hackett has apologised for a clash with a passenger on a flight that landed at Melbourne Airport on Sunday.

Collingwood Football Club chief executive Gary Pert was sitting across the aisle from Hackett on the flight and witnessed the incident.

He said Hackett was "clearly incapacitated" and may have been drinking.

Pert, speaking to 3AW, said Hackett was unhappy about a passenger lowering their seat, but said there was "no assault or major altercation".

The victim alleged he had been groped on the chest.
