TOUGH has a new name: Superduty Black Ops.
Harrison F-Trucks has given its muscly Ford F-Series some hardcore treatment on F250 and F350 variants.
Available in Australia mid-way through this year, the F250 and F350 Superduty Black Ops come with an overhaul.
Pricing is yet to be announced, but expect it to surpass the $105,000 that the base 4x2 F250 costs.
Developed by American vehicle transformation specialists Tuscany, the Black Ops not only looks the part with its all-black body and interior, it backs this up with an extensive range of under the skin changes.
Under that beefy bonnet, the second- generation 6.7-litre Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel now boasts 328kW (up 30kW) and 1166Nm of torque (up from 1084Nm).
That hefty power and torque is delivered to all four wheels via the six speed TorqShift gearbox and it can tow up to a massive 8.6 tonnes.
The trucks ride on exclusive 20-inch stealth black alloys with BF Goodrich All-Terrain rubber. For those who want an off-road option, KM2 Mud Terrain tyres are available.
Leading the charge is a black powder- coated bull bar with a pair of KC off road Daylighter spotlights. Also black coated is the grille and the bonnet has two massive air scoops.
Heavy duty, electronic side steps are standard in powder-coated black.
At either end of the side steps are enlarged flared wheel arches while there is an extra four-inch body lift provided by Pro-Comp suspension.
For accurate tracking and warning, the front suspension has been realigned and tyre sensors and speedo have been recalibrated.
The F250 and F350 Superduty's huge load space is covered with a lockable tonneau cover.
Out the back is a Quiet Tone Performance Exhaust in stainless steel with black powder- coated exhaust tips.
Vehicles are converted to right-hand drive in Melbourne by Vehicle Development Corporation (VDC) and sold by Harrison's retail outlets in Victoria and Maroochydore.
Between them, Harrison F-Trucks and VDC have delivered more than 600 F-Series trucks in Australia that have covered more than 50million kilometres.
