Heidi's Aussie Day collection

WITH Australia Day just around the corner, Heidi Grinham, of Grafton, has been getting some last minute props to make her day extra special.

Yesterday she hit the shops in Grafton where she purchased a beach towel, beach ball, hat, wet weather umbrella and temporary tattoos, all in the colours of the Australia flag.

“I already have my Australia chair and beach umbrella so each year I buy some more Australia Day stuff to add to my collection,” she said.

Heidi’s plans for Australia Day include obviously getting dressed in all of Australian gear and heading to a beach in the Clarence Valley.

“I’m also going to get a sober driver to drive around Grafton while I hang out the car window yelling ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie’,” she said.

Heidi said she loves the land, the beaches and everything about Australia.

“I’m proud to be born here,” she said.
