Hogan joins Elliot in electoral funding spotlight

AN ad in last Friday's Northern Star from Page MP Kevin Hogan will also be investigated by the NSW Electoral Commission to see if it has breached the Election Funding, Expenditure and Disclosures Act 1981.

Last week The Nationals referred Federal Labor MP Justine Elliot to the Electoral Commission, saying her ads may have breached state election funding laws.

Whether there has been any breach "will depend on a number of things including the cost of the advert," a spokesperson said.
