YOUR STORY: See riders pushed to the limit at Grafton Sunday

Ever wondered what it would be like to push yourself to the limit, the only vision you have is through the goggles placed over a helmet, to fly through the air, while using split second decision making in order to gain the advantage?

Want to come and see what it is like?

This Sunday there will be over one hundred competitors lining up to do just that and take on the challenge of the North Coast Series Round 2 at the South Grafton Ex-Services Motorcycle Club.

YOUR STORY: Do you have an event to promote? Tell your story your way.

As the riders do last minutes checks of their bikes, you can almost hear the thoughts running through their heads of finding the best line, which riders they will be pitting their skills against and the thought of the checkered flag.

For some it will be their first ride on this track, for others it is their home track. Will home track give the South Grafton Ex-Services Club the advantage?

South Grafton Ex-Services Club has amazing talent, so let's have a look at just a few starting with the girls.

There are the Bates girls, Ashlea Bates #55 (rider number) and Elisha Bates #199 as well as Tenayah McLeod #251 who will be taking to the track in the Ladies All Power class.

If round one was anything to go by these girls are hungry for the win, which will give the race and added adrenaline rush. It looks like a twelve month break from racing has given Jacob McLeod (#5) the extra determination to cross the finish line first.

Making a comeback for the first round of the series, Jacob took out first place in A Grade Lites and second place in the North Coast Championship, the club has him as their hot favourite to take out the North Coast Championship class this Sunday.

There is more than one local rider making a comeback in true motocross style, Glen Haig #72 took to the track like duck to the water, placing first in the C Grade Open and fourth in the Over 35 yrs class. In the juniors Jack Lilley #25 will no doubt be challenging his fellow riders to the best lines in the track.

Or will the riders who are travelling as far north as Sunshine Coast such as Liam Wilson(#388) and Nathan Hepburn(#N22) or south as Cessnock Kacey Collins (#113) and Bryce Holmes(#15) to bring their talent and skills to the series, put a spanner in the works for the theory of home track advantage?

Round one brought amazing riders who possessed incredible skills, round two is lining up to be just as adrenaline packed, with grids full of riders ready to race for that checkered flag and put on a display of awe inspiring skill!

The next round will be hosted by the South Grafton Ex-Services Motorcycle Club on the 6th September.
