HSC texts rate highly in Valley
MOBILE phones were buzzing left, right and centre yesterday as Year 12 students across the State received their Higher School Certificate results through text message.
Students at McAuley Catholic College in Grafton celebrated their results with a barbecue lunch. Principal Leon Walsh congratulated the graduating class.
“This is my first group of Year 12s at McAuley and I am very proud of what they have achieved and the work they have put in,” he said.
“This year the kids have achieved 13 band sixs, 90 band fives, and 16 of the 24 subjects we offer are on or above the State average,” Mr Walsh said.
