Crash on the Gwydir Highway

THREE people are believed to be in hospital after a head on collision on the Gwydir Highway today.

The crash was about 2km west of South Grafton just after 12pm.

The cars involved were a green and silver Nissan dual cab utility and a white Nissan Navara that was towing a trailer.

A police spokesman said this was a timely reminder for people to take care on the roads at all times, especially with the greater volume of traffic during the upcoming school holiday period.
