Ian looks forward to new job

TEENAGER Ian Anderson loves living and working in Yamba.

“I love living in Yamba because I can go surfing, skating, fishing and just hang out with my friends,” he said.

Two months ago Ian gained a traineeship at the Yamba Golf and Country Club restaurant.

Within a year he will graduate to an apprenticeship.

“I really love my job at the Yamba Golf Club restaurant,” he said.

“It’s awesome for me at the moment, and one day I hope to be playing golf, something I have always wanted to do.”

Head chef/owner Mark Chiaruttini praised his new trainee.

“Ian is a real credit to himself, his punctuality is second to none, he presents really well and gets on great with all the staff,” Mark said.
