Ice hockey is cool for Mitch

MITCHELL Johnson is pretty dedicated to his sport, as he drives to Coffs Harbour about three times a week for training and games.

Mitch plays ice hockey in the local Coffs competition which takes place every week on a Thursday for his team, the Dragons.

“There are currently about 40 people in the comp aged from 16 to 60,” he said.

“The more players we get though, the better it will be,” Mitch said.

He urged anyone who has basic skills to join up because he has a great time each and every week.

“It you have ever roller-bladed, ice skated, played field hockey or have good co-ordination, you would be perfect,” he said.

“You also have to be prepared to fall over, if you don't fall over, you aren't trying hard enough.”
