In court for deadly driving

ROBERT David Pryor fronted Maclean Local Court yesterday on dangerous and negligent driving charges for an incident that killed a 58-year-old man.

In February this year, the 52-year-old allegedly ran over the man with his car in Wallaby Ln, Brooms Head. He was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death (drive under the influence) and negligent driving (occasioning death).

The injured man was taken to Lismore hospital but later died.

Pryor's case was adjourned until November 4 in Grafton.
