Hearing not set-down for Beamer

A HEARING date for an Ashby man charged over a fatal car accident has not been set-down as expected.

Graham Beamer had his matter adjourned at Maclean Local Court yesterday.

The 45-year-old had pleaded not guilty to negligent driving occasioning death.

The hearing date will now be decided at Maclean Local Court on May 27.

In other news, Maclean man John X Berlin, known to police as John Paul Breslin, will have a string of charges heard at Maclean Local Court on June 24, it was decided yesterday.

Berlin was charged with stalking after he allegedly harassed a man on the internet.

His other charges relate to illegal possession of police uniform and insignia.
