Closet thief pleads guilty

AN 18-year-old Clarenza man who was found hiding in a closet when police were investigating a break-in at a South Grafton motel, has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty to the offence in Grafton Local Court yesterday.

Israel Eric Bibby fronted the court to answer charges of break enter and steal on January 4 this year and also driving while disqualified three days earlier.

Bibby was placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond for the driving offence and also disqualified from driving for two years.
