Info session on highway upgrade

COMMUNITY members are invited to community information sessions to discuss the noise report for the Sapphire to Woolgoolga Pacific Hwy upgrade.

A Roads and Maritime Services spokesman said the report, to be online soon, provides important information about noise monitoring carried out after the $850 million project opened to traffic in July last year.

"A noise specialist and project team members will be available to discuss the results of the post operational noise report," the spokesman said.

"Copies of the report, mapping and a question and answer leaflet will also be available for viewing."

Community information sessions will be held:

  • From 4-7pm, Wednesday, September 2 at St Francis Xavier Primary School hall, Woolgoolga
  • From 5-8pm, Thursday, September 3 at the Sandy Beach School Hall.
