Instagram offers same multiple account move as Twitter

INSTAGRAM has announced an 'easier to use' function for users with multiple accounts in its next upgrade.

The social media platform made this announcement this morning.

"Starting this week, you can quickly and easily switch between multiple accounts on Instagram," the post said.

Twitter has had an 'easy to switch accounts' function for some time now, while Facebook still only allows you to link Pages to one account, not switch between multiple accounts with ease.

Instagram users need to go to their account settings to add and additional account and tap their username at the top of the profile tab to switch between accounts.

"Once you have multiple accounts added, you'll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you're using at the moment," Instagram states.

The account switching will be available as part of the update to Instagram version 7.15 for andriod and iOS devices.
