Come and try some BMX action

Today, Clarence Valley BMX Club is holding its Come And Try BMX Day followed by club racing.

Tomorrow is the second round of the inter-club three-track challenge at Sawtell BMX Club. Casino, Grafton and Sawtell will battle it out for bragging rights as they cascade through the challenging downhill track.

Last weekend was the final round of the NSW State Series at Casino, who put on a great day on their new tar-sealed berms, which worked a treat and the meeting ran like clockwork.

Our Clarence Valley crew performed very well with most members making it through to finals.

The Marshes proved a strong force and Stacey Brown showed her brute strength throughout the day. Little Alex Hyatt rode the wheels off his bike and showed some spirit, putting a big distance between himself and his competitors.

Sam Stanton took out the most spectacular crash with a pirouette-style exit of the bike taking out most of the field, and Dylan Korb got pushed up over a berm and catapulted into the crowd. All were okay and both finished their races respectively.

Come down to the Grafton BMX track this afternoon at 1pm, bring a bike and have some fun. There will be BMX coaches to give advice and lend a hand.
