THE Glenreagh Mountain railway (GMR) is conducting a week-long working bee from tomorrow at its Glenreagh locations.

The working bees will cover repairing and cleaning the cottage, cleaning up around Glenreagh West yard, further track clearing, cleaning the two passenger carriages, cleaning 1919 (the steam locomotive) and other minor tasks around the site. Clearing of the Glenreagh yard will take place on Tuesday, April 22.

Any volunteers will need to be paid members of GMR for insurance purposes. Membership costs start at $40 a person which also entitles them to quarterly newsletters.

For more info go to www.gmr.org.au, or email the secretary at secretary@gmr.org.au for membership and working bee information.
