Jackie O walks out on Sandilands in sickie protest

SYDNEY radio personality Jackie O has had a gutful of co-host Kyle Sandilands' Friday sickies.

So much so she brought up his failure to turn up for work on air before storming off the set on Monday morning.

"Listen girls, if you vomited in the car, I don't think you'd come to work either,'' Sandilands told Jackie O, to which she replied she had come into work after being sick before.

"i've never seen you here covered in vomit,'' Sandilands snapped back.

"I went home and got changed.''

"Have you got the sh.... or something?,'' Sandilands asked his co-host.

"A little bit she replied.''

"I can't ask you about being sick on a Friday?

"You are always sick on a Friday. I'm putting it out there.''

"It leaves me high and dry on the air.'''

"Well, what can I do,'' Sandilands replied.

"I can't be here ill.''

"I'm not going to come to work vomiting and sick.

"You've got no understanding of what it's like.''

Sandilands later came back on the air about 40 minutes later to announce that Jackie O had walked out.

"In the spirit of transparency I'd like to let everyone know that Jackie and I, during the news, have had an argument and Jackie's left," he said.

"I'm not going to go into why, how, when, who said what, what happened, anything that got flicked around, she's just not here."

The Kyle and Jackie O show is  the second highest rating FM breakfast radio show in Sydney behind WSFM's Jonesy and Amanda.

The duo defected to Kiis FM, which is owned by APN, publisher of this website.
