I HAVE lived in the Lower Clarence for 20 years.

As a mother I care deeply about the Clarence Valley and our children's future in our wonderful, unique area.

I would be honoured to contribute to the decisions which would benefit all our community and which consider employment, services and our surrounding environment while acknowledging and valuing your input.

I promote sustainable development - meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs and enjoy what we now have.

I support a genuine community engagement/consultation policy and absolute transparency. Local government is everyone's business.

I will not support coal seam gas exploration or extraction given the grave concerns for the potential to cause harm to our farmlands, our water and people's lives. Protecting long-term livelihood of our farmers is absolutely imperative.

I will make responsible decisions now that will shape future generations.

Rate increases must not exceed the pegged limit.

I am committed to maintaining existing range and level of council services and addressing longer-term council financial security.
