Janelle Saffin one of Australia's most influential women
PAGE Labor candidate Janelle Saffin has been included in a list of Australia's most influential women published by Fairfax media and Westpac.
Ms Saffin, who was the local member from 2007 to 2013 and has recently said she wants her old job as Page MP back, is included in the list of 100 Women of Influence.
Ms Saffin's listing cites her work in East Timor, where she serves as the senior legal adviser to the Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for Timor-Leste.
She is listed as one of 12 women under the "global" category.
The list was formed from a field of more than 500 entrants by a 10-member judging panel and will be honed further at an awards ceremony at Sydney next month, where a individual women from each of the 10 categories will be selected to be honoured.
