Jewish students as young as five terrorised on Sydney bus

JEWISH children as young as five have been subjected to a terrifying racial attack after thugs stormed their school bus and reportedly threatened to cut their throats.

Police have arrested six alleged offenders involved in the attack in Sydney, according to News Corp.

The Daily Telegraph reports the youths were screaming "Kill the Jews" and "Heil Hitler" as they jumped on the bus filled with about 30 children, from kindergarten age to Year 12.

Police said at 3.50am today, six young males were found in Dover Heights. They are believed to be those who were on the bus. Another two have yet to be found.

They could not be formally interviewed by police because of their level of intoxication.

They are expected to be interviewed today after their parents are contacted.

The threatened students, from Mount Sinai College, Moriah College and Emanuel School, were on their way home on the bus which was heading through the eastern suburbs of Sydney to Bondi Junction.

NSW Communities Minister Victor Dominello says he is deeply disturbed by the reports, AAP reported.

"Public abuse and intimidation on the grounds of race or religion is deplorable," he said.

"The people of NSW will never excuse it and those who are alleged to have subjected school children as young as five to this anti-Semitic attack should face the full force of the law."
