Jones to boost a confident United

THE return of United all-rounder Aaron Jones, and the confidence he brings, could spell curtains for Iluka's LCCA first grade season when the two sides meet today.

United had Iluka's measure last week with a nine-wicket triumph, and the two sides can end each other's season with victory at Yamba Oval. But United skipper Luke Many knows things can turn around just as quickly.

“We have been going along all right,” he said. “But on their day Iluka can score 200 easily. We just need to bowl tight lines. If we do that we can keep them to under 100.”

Many said last week's effort of dismantling Iluka for 54 could have a lasting impression.

“We go in confident anyway but I think a few of their blokes might remember last week,” he said.
