Joy and despair for finalists

THE GRAFTON Tigers Aussie rules side claimed back-to-back premierships with their grand final victory on Saturday, but the news wasn't as rosy for their rugby league counterparts the Ghosts yesterday.

The Grafton Ghosts were beaten by a solitary point, 27-26, in a thrilling grand final against arch-rivals the Murwillumbah Mustangs.

The lead changed hands a number of times in the dying minutes of the match before a penalty kick made the difference.
