WHERE: Maclean Civic Hall

DETAILS: A musical play set in a modern day cafe, that replicates a milk bar of the sixties in Australia. The owner, Joe, has been a rocker all his life and presents "Saturday Night Sixties" to his patrons each week. When a coin is dropped in the slot, the cast sing a song. Presented by Clarence Coast Theatrical Society - tickets are $15 from The Flower Box, Maclean.

Lanbruk's Gunyah open day

WHEN:Sunday, 10am-3pm

WHERE: 423 Carrs Peninsula Rd, Carrs Peninsula.

DETAILS: Entry to the museum, farm animals, and olive tasting is $5, children under 12 years old are free. The gift shop will be open all day. For more information phone 6642 6640.

Yamba River Markets

WHEN: Sunday, 9am-2pm

WHERE: River St, Yamba

DETAILS: The market showcases local and regional food, craft, art in a village atmosphere.

There is also live entertainment from local emerging talent as well as touring bands and musicians.

Yamba Country Music Muster

WHERE: Yamba Bowling Club

DETAILS: Enjoy five hours of quality music with a cuppa to boot. Special guest for the day will be Marie Hodson contributing two 40 minute sets at 1pm and 3.15pm. Entry is $5.

Grafton Heritage Tree Walk

WHEN: Everyday until April 24.

WHERE: Begin at Grafton Library, Pound St

DETAILS: Collect your FREE 'touring pack' from the library (open Saturday 9.30am-12noon) and make your way around the city of trees at your own pace taking in the botanical wonders and their history and stories.

Local league derby

WHEN: Sunday from midday

WHERE: McKittrick Park, South Grafton

DETAILS: Get out your club colours and your picnic rug and get on to down and watch the South Grafton Rebels and the Grafton Ghost go head to head in the Group 2 competition this Sunday. Go early and check out the future starters in the 18s which kicks off about midday.

Col Finley Band

WHEN: Saturday night from 7.30pm

WHERE: Grafton District Services Club

DETAILS: Clarence country music great Col Finley has been a notable absence from our local gig guide since he moved up to the Sunshine Coast a few years ago but the entertainment stayer will be back at home this weekend for a free show with his new line-up. Yee-ha.

WHEN: Saturday afternoon

WHERE: Rugby Park, South Grafton

DETAILS: Make it a big weekend of ball sport spectating by catching the Redmen in their first home ground game this season when they take on the South West Rocks Gaolers in the reserves and Hastings Vikings in 1st Grade on Saturday.
