Junior cricket fixtures washed out

A handful of junior cricket games have been cancelled due to the recent wet weather.

The Clarence River Junior Cricket Association posted the announcement on their Facebook page on Thursday evening, with two under-16s games called off.

"Under-16s games at Ulmarra and Lower Fisher Turf have been cancelled," the post says.

"Harwood to be advised.

"All other junior games to go ahead until further notice."

Both grounds are pencilled in to host first grade games this weekend, but their status has not yet been declared.
