LCCA Team of the Week - Round 12
JUST the one match was played to select from for the Lower Clarence Team of the Week in round 12 with the match between Maclean United and Lawrence washed out.
Instead, all 11 players are comprised from performances in the clash between Harwood and Iluka at Iluka Oval.
Harwood thumped their coastal neighbours, posting 7 for 215 and reducing Iluka to 9 for 113 to win by 102 runs. However, a strong team effort from Harwood against a poor overall showing with sporadic individual highlights from Iluka means Harwood doesn't dominate the Team of the Week as much as one might expect, with six players selected to Iluka's five.
LCCA 1ST GRADE TEAM OF THE WEEK

Travis Anderson - Harwood (wk) (new) Produced the fireworks in the second half of Harwood's innings with 42 at Iluka Oval. 7. Josh Lane - Iluka (new) Scored 15. Gains selection in this team by virtue of reaching double figures. 9. Ken Richards - Harwood (2) Solid all-round game from the veteran with 23 not out before snaring 2 for 22 off 8 overs including two maidens with the new ball. 10. Dave Cowen - Iluka (new) The tall Iluka captain was the clear standout with the ball, finishing with figures 4 for 33 off 7. 11. Tom Littlechild - Harwood (2) The up and coming spinner sealed the win with the last wicket for his side, for a haul of 2 for 21 off 3.5 overs.
