LCRC finishes its rowing season on a high

ROWING: LOWER Clarence Rowing Club finished the rowing season off with the Iluka/South Grafton High School regatta at the weekend.

LCRC won the NRRA overall club pointscore trophy and also the pointscore trophies for the Open and Junior divisions. The Women's Master pointscore for the single scull was won by Clare Millist.

Candice Jagoe won her division of the WM Hcp single scull with Mandy Steel second. They also won the WM Hcp double scull with Keryn Saunders and Clare Millist second. In the WM Hcp quad, the crew of Keryn, Mandy, Joanne Meehan and Clare finished a close second.

Clara Samms won the Women's Open single scull with Stephanie Hutton third. Clara and Stephanie also won the WO double scull with Kirilly Maxwell and Amelia Stennett (Port Macquarie) second.

The women's crew of Candice, Clara, Stephanie, and Kirilly raced against the men's crew of Logan Bolton (LCRC), Ethan Davis (Iluka), Duncan Fischer (Iluka), and Rhys Fischer (Iluka), with the men first across the line.

Logan Bolton and Ben Young won the MO double scull and Logan was 2nd in the MO single scull.

Lachlan Maxwell won the MU15/16 single scull and also came second in the MU15/16 double scull with Andre Kendall.

Ashley Luland won the WU15/16 single scull with Hope Baker second and Aimee Jeffrey third. Younger crew of Rose Roper and Grace Johnson won the double scull with Hope Baker/Emma Inmon second, Molly Dobin/Aimee Jeffrey third and Ashley Luland/April Shannon


Molly, Rose, Grace and April won the WU15/16 quad scull with the other crew of Aimee, Emma, Ashley and Hope second.
