Lend an helpful ear

LIFELINE needs more telephone counsellors in the Clarence Valley.

Telephone counselling is a volunteer position with a high standard of training.

No previous experience is necessary, although a willingness to listen and caring about others are prerequisites.

Through the training counselling skills are learned and a greater self awareness develops.

Being a volunteer telephone counsellor is a rewarding experience and a certain amount of commitment is necessary.

For anyone looking to do something for the community this could be the way to go.

For more information call the Lifeline office on 6651 4093.
