LIFELINE needs more telephone counsellors in the Clarence Valley.

Telephone counselling is a volunteer position with a high standard of training.

No previous experience is necessary, although a willingness to listen and caring about others are prerequisites.

Through the training counselling skills are learned and a greater self awareness develops.

Being a volunteer telephone counsellor is a rewarding experience and a certain amount of commitment is necessary.

For anyone looking to do something for the community this could be the way to go.
