Letter to the Editor - Friday, April 11: SES say thanks

ON BEHALF of the Copmanhurst SES unit I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Clarence Valley Club for their generous donation.   Our unit was one of the many groups receiving donations from this club and was greatly appreciated.   A presentation night was held at the GDSC where over $50,000 was distributed to the various groups on the night. For all the hard working members who kept this club operating against the odds for nearly 30 years is a big effort indeed.   It is sad that this club is having to close after helping so many people and organisations for so many years. You can all look back with satisfaction on a job well done.   Doug Palmer, Unit controller, Copmanhurst
