Letter to the Editor-Thursday, October 17:Thanks for helping

MAY I through your paper say thanks to the people who helped when my husband slipped and fell outside the Reject Shop on Friday.

Thanks to the staff at Australian Hearing for calling centre management. The staff at Reject Shop for putting baskets around the wet floor to prevent someone else from falling. To the gentleman who walked through the baskets, why do you think they were there?

Thank you to the gentleman who helped get my husband off the floor. Also to others who wanted to help. Thank you to Val.

To the thoughtless person who spilt the water, why didn't you report the spill to the staff at the shops? To centre management thank you for your attention and getting the spill cleaned up so quickly.

My husband fortunately only has bruising, but it could have been worse; he could have broken bones.

Irene Tranter,
Grafton
