Letter to the Editor - Tuesday, October 15: Rupert’s payback?

RUPERT Murdoch tweeted that 1.7 million Australian public servants are bludgers and he is overjoyed that the Tony Abbott Government got into power as he says our 1.7 million public servants coming from our police, nurses and teachers are a blight upon our society.

How in the hell can he say this when he has 167 subsidiary companies in tax havens?

What is his payback for this free publicity from the conservative parties, there could be three things, privatising the ABC, control of the NBN because it could damage his Foxtel interests, or get Tony Abbott to stop the taxation inquiries into his tax havens.
