LETTER: Time to scrap the Upper v Lower divide

I WANT to just politely point out to Daily Examiner journalist Tim Howard, in the best interest of the Clarence Valley, he should move on from using divisive language when describing candidates who are running for the CVC elections as upper and lower river.

I would rather it be known that my intentions are to represent all who reside in the Clarence Valley local government area.

While I may have lived in Yamba for 17 years, I have also lived in Maclean for 17 years, worked in Grafton for 15 years and played in our high country for 20.

I love all of the valley and its extraordinary mix of people.

Debrah Novak, Yamba
