Letter to the Editor - October 9: Teeth good, brains...

WHAT is it with the decision makers of Grafton? First it was the refusal to allow the establishment in Grafton of the forerunner of Southern Cross University, resulting in our losing our regional headquarters status, then doing away with the Jacaranda public holiday, thus depriving us of a much valued family occasion.

Now we are faced with the expensive and totally unnecessary change to parking. If not parking between lines marked at 45 deg. is a problem, simply change the angle to 80 deg., as that is the angle most tend to park at. For those premises with verandas, a simple device on the roadway would prevent vehicles going back too far.

I don't know, it must be the water perhaps. At least the decision makers will have good teeth even if their brains are addled.
