Level crossing confusion at Koolkhan

MOTORISTS are advised of a disrupted level crossing at Koolkhan on Summerland Way.

A train triggered signals to set off the lights and sirens at the level crossing while attempting to fit into a yard.

The alerted signal has caused some confusion for drivers unsure whether a train is approaching or whether they should cross, but an Australian Rail Track Corporation spokesman told drivers to continue to adhere to the signs in place.

There is no estimated timeline as to when the lights will be back to normal, but motorists are advised to drive safely and keep alert when crossing the level crossing.
