Library comes up with novel solution to meet reader needs

GRAFTON Library presented a novel solution to the age old problem of going to the library and finding they do not have your book of choice on Tuesday.

The Library held an event where members of the community could go along and choose the book they thought should be purchased.

"A broad selection of books that appeal to a wide range of people were chosen by the community for inclusion in the Clarence Regional Library collection," said Katrina Shillam from the Grafton Library.

"There were also some healthy discussions about books and reading trends.

"Over 50 people attended and it was good to see some kids and teenagers having their say in the choice of books."
