Livermore set to host clinics

EXPECT to hear plenty of cheering from Grafton’s hockey fields this weekend when former Kookaburra captain Brent Livermore hosts coaching clinics.

About 120 youngsters are expected to attend the three sessions, costing $25 each.

On Sunday, three clinics will be held at the water-based field, running from 11.30am-1.30pm, 2.30pm-4.30pm and 4.30pm-6.30pm.

Many North Coast Academy players have been attending specialist 6am trainings for a number of weeks, with three Grafton players already selected in the NSW training squad.

The Club/Beginners clinic will be run from 11-30am-1.30pm. Brent will ensure the basics of the game are covered so every young player is being taught the skills in the correct manner.

Brent will run a specialist goalies clinic from 4.30pm-6.30pm. This will be geared at all levels of goalkeepers.
