1031 Life is hosting a trivia night at the GDSC. Friday the 18th of October at 7PM.As well as hoping to raise funds to for the onging costs of running the station we need to have some funds in reserve for maintianance of the transmitter.
The current transmitter amplifier is running at reduced capacity. It is now only capable of an output of 300 watts instead of the 1000 watts it is rated for. If one more Amp chip dies we will go off air. The cost of fixing the unit is between $900 and $1800 if the cables need upgrading as well.
The winning team will receive $200 as a cash prize and there are lots of other great prizes and raffles on the night.
