Experience will lead to a business

DAWN Brown is a 20-year-old trainee and loves working at the Clarence Business Centre in Grafton.

"I am just so happy to have been given the opportunity and look forward to coming to work every day," she said.

The Business Centre provides office space and message services to a range of other businesses.

"I help our businesses with their faxing and photocopying and I also do the mail run.

"Best of all I like meeting new people," she said.

Ms Brown is also studying a Certificate III in business where she is learning about cash-flow, computing and invoicing.

Ms Brown grew up in South Grafton and while she enjoys living and working in the area, she does have plans to expand her horizons.

"I will move to a bigger city, but not just yet. I have been here my whole life. I want to experience something different," she said.

Clarence Centre Business manager Mark Butler said that Ms Brown has excelled in every area of her role.
