Holidays of friendships and fun

FOR most kids, school holidays mean no early starts, no classes and best of all no homework.

But for South Grafton High School trio Tyler Clarke, Isabella DiMattia and Laetisha Perry, holidays represent the perfect time to catch up with friends from other schools and see the latest blockbusters to hit the cinemas.

Describing themselves as huge fans of popular British comedian Rowan Atkinson, Tyler, Isabella and Laetisha went to see the sequel to his 2003 spy thriller Johnny English yesterday afternoon.

"We all love Rowan Atkinson, and we're big fans of his Mr. Bean series," Isabella said.

"I love watching the funny bits in his movies."

Tyler, the only member of the group to have watched the original Johnny English film, said he expected the sequel Johnny English Reborn to have more laughs than the first.

Before heading to the cinemas, the trio met for drinks at Grafton Shoppingworld where they discussed their plans for the remainder of the holidays.
