Lower head into the unknown

INTER-DISTRICT CRICKET: The youthful Lower Clarence Cricket Association representative side will face Nambucca in a do-or-die final match on Sunday in the North Coast Cricket Council Inter-District competition.

It is the first time Nambucca have had a chance at making the finals in the last decade and it makes them a tough opponent for the Lower Clarence side.

"We are always confident, you have to be confident or you might as well not turn up," LCCA captain Luke Many said. "But Nambucca are a bit of an unknown for us. It will be interesting to see how they play."

Lower will be without attacking weapon Nathan Essex who is away on work commitments with half their side under 20.
