Maclean hosts Motocross series

UP TO 300 motocross riders will all be on show this weekend at the opening round of the North Coast Motocross Series at Maclean Motorcycle Park, Townsend.

This annual event features five North Coast motocross clubs from Hastings Valley through to Richmond River, meaning competition will be intense.

Saturday’s schedule will see 11 separate junior motocross classes competing across three rounds. Then on Sunday all the senior riders hit the track with nine classes all racing over three rounds.

Spectators will enjoy free entry on both days with an in-kind donation tin to be located at the canteen should you wish to support the not-for-profit club that is run solely by volunteers.

Canteen and clean amenities will be available. Bring your own chairs and rugs and get there early as massive crowds are expected. Sorry no dogs allowed.

For more information go to www.macleandirtbikeclub.com.au or contact club president Colin 6647 6664 or 0402 203 482.
