Maclean woman taken to hospital after small house fire

A WOMAN has been taken to Maclean Hospital after a small kitchen fire in Taloumbi St.

Firefighters at the scene said she wasn't injured but was taken for some oxygen.

Firefighting crews from Maclean and Yamba attended after receiving the call about 11am and brought the fire under control quickly after.

The cause was unknown but suspected to be an electrical fire.
