New favourite emerges after Magic Millions barrier draw

A NEW favourite has emerged for the 2019 Magic Millions 2YO Classic after landing a favourable barrier draw for the Gold Coast's biggest horse race.

Exhilarates became the new favourite for the 1200m race after the barrier numbers were drawn on Tuesday morning on Surfers Paradise beach.

Trained by  James Cummings, she has firmed from $5 with Ladbrokes after getting barrier 9, while both Unite And Conqueror ($6) and Yes Yes Yes ($7.50) drifted substantially after drawing wide alleys 18 and 21 respectively.

Former Magic Millions managing director and current Godolphin director Vin Cox was the man to draw nine for the Cummings team.
